July 19 Presentation “Transportation: Your Company’s Biggest Hazard” with Cricket McWilliams, Bitco Insurance

On July 19 ASSE professional member Cricket McWilliams with Bitco Insurance will be giving a  presentation on, “Transportation: Your Company’s Biggest Hazard.”

Company transportation whether it is cars, pickup trucks, or CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicles) vehicles is without a doubt every company’s biggest hazard.  There is no other hazard to a company that has more insurance claims, more fatalities, and the more litigation.  Yet it is the hazard that is overlooked, taken for granted, and has the least amount of ongoing training within most companies.

The presentation will be will discuss talking points on how to recognize different hazards when it comes to driving a company vehicle.  This will include information on rules and regulations that apply to DOT drivers and Non-DOT drivers.  In addition, an overview of some of the training and processes to help prevent major issues that happen when, having a company fleet.

We will be meeting at the River Smiths at 5th Street in Ave. Q in Lubbock at 6:30 p.m. for the presentation and 6:00 p.m. for dinner and networking.  We will be in the Preston Smith room (NE meeting room).
